This is my first year coaching at Rocky Mountain High School. I have coached high school basketball for 11 years, 8 with Mountain View, coaching every level from freshman to varsity assistant. This has given me a very good sense of what is needed at every level to become successful at the varsity level. I also coached varsity tennis at MVHS and helped build a top 5 program in the state for the last five years. I teach business classes, mainly Personal Finance, and I am sure I will try to recruit every one of your kids to take my class before they leave Rocky.
I have an awesome wife, Brooke, and two kids, Mikale and Treysen. They are all very excited and will be a huge part of the program in their own ways. I am sure you will see a lot of them.
BA History, Secondary Education

I am currently in my third year teaching Social Studies in the Meridian School District; second year at Rocky Mountain High School as an American Government Teacher. I graduated from Boise State University in 2007 with a BA in History. I am also in the U.S. Army Reserve, and served in Operation Iraqi Freedom during the 2005-2006 campaign. This is my 8th year coaching high school basketball, with the first five years as an Assistant at the Junior Varsity level. I am excited to begin my third season as a member of the Rocky Mountain High School Basketball Program.
I have been coaching high school basketball for 12 years at the freshman through JV levels, with this year being my first at Rocky Mountain. After working with some of our players during summer tournaments I am excited for what we can accomplish this season and beyond with the exceptional group of dedicated players in the program. I also teach Anatomy & Biological Science classes at Meridian High School. My Bachelor’s Degree is from the University of Idaho, and I am currently working on a Master’s of Kinesiology at Boise State University. My support and inspiration to succeed comes from my wonderful wife Rachel and our two beautiful girls, Hailey and Hilary.
I attended Capital High School from 1994-1997 lettering in Football, Basketball and Baseball. We won the S.I.C. district championship and I earned all-league and all state honors in Football. I played Football at Eastern Oregon University in LaGrande, graduating with a B.S. in History. While completting my teaching certification at Boise State University, I coached Football at Borah High School and was an Assistant 9th grade Basketball coach at Hillside Junior High School. I began teaching at Eagle High School and was Junior Varsity head coach in both football and baseball, winning the S.I.C. district championship for baseball in 2006. I currently teach Social Studies, and coach the Varsity cornerbacks at Rocky. I am excited for the opportunity to coach high school basketball.; I am married to a wonderful woman, who is also a teacher in the Middleton School District.
I came to Rocky Mountain High School as the Sophomore Head Coach two years ago, after previously being the assistant Baseball Coach at Capital High School. I have 18+ years coaching experience in basketball and baseball at all levels since playing baseball at Ricks College (BYU Idaho). I was the head Boys Basketball Coach at Kofa High School in Yuma, Arizona, where I taught Chemistry and Physical Science. I also served for 6 years on the Kofa Baseball staff, at all levels. Currently I work for Bank of America as a Real Estate Appraiser, and reside in Meridian with my wife and three kids.
